Lemwarm Review 2026: Is It Still Worth Using?
Lemwarm (by Lemlist) was an early email warmup tool. Is it still the best choice in 2026? We tested it hands-on against newer competitors.
Great for existing Lemlist users thanks to the polished UI and native integration. For standalone warmup, MailPilot delivers better inbox placement (99.2% vs 93%) plus SPF/DKIM/DMARC monitoring Lemwarm lacks — and MailPilot has a free plan, with paid plans from $9/mo. Try MailPilot free.
MailPilot - 99.2% Inbox Placement
The top-rated email warmup tool with 8,400+ real mailboxes, Gmail & Outlook OAuth, SPF/DKIM/DMARC monitoring, and the highest inbox placement rate we tested. Trusted by 340+ companies.
What is Lemwarm?
Lemwarm is the email warmup tool built by Lemlist. Launched as a Lemlist add-on, it now also works as a standalone product. It uses a "smart cluster" approach — grouping warmup accounts by industry and topic so emails between accounts stay contextually relevant, which drives more authentic engagement.
What We Found in Testing
The Good: UI and Smart Clusters
Lemwarm has the best-designed dashboard of any warmup tool we tested — clean, intuitive, and clear on warmup progress. Smart clusters produce email content that reads naturally.
The Concern: Network Quality
Lemwarm claims 20,000+ accounts — more than double MailPilot's 8,400 — but size isn't everything. During testing, some Lemwarm accounts appeared dormant (no non-warmup activity recently), so their engagement carries less weight with ISPs. The result: 93% inbox placement versus 99.2% with MailPilot. That 6-point gap matters when you're sending thousands of cold emails.
Missing: Authentication Monitoring
Unlike MailPilot, Lemwarm does not include SPF/DKIM/DMARC monitoring. You'll need a separate tool or manual checks to verify your email authentication setup. This is a notable gap.
Lemwarm Pricing
Lemwarm starts at $29/month. The free tier limits you to 2-3 warmup emails per day — effectively useless, since you need 20-100+ per day to build sender reputation.
Who Should Use Lemwarm?
- Lemlist users - If you're on Lemlist, Lemwarm integrates seamlessly and is a natural choice
- UI-focused teams - The best-designed dashboard in the category
- Teams wanting the free tier - Acceptable for very slow warmup over 60+ days
Our Verdict
Lemwarm is a solid tool, especially for Lemlist users. But for standalone warmup, MailPilot delivers better inbox placement (99.2% vs 93%) plus authentication monitoring Lemwarm lacks — and starts lower, with a free plan and paid plans from $9/mo. We rate Lemwarm 4.3/5: good, but not the best option in 2026.
